Evening Shift Caregiver
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Evening Shift Caregiver to join our team at Colonnades Assisted Living Center in Bay City, Michigan. As an Evening Shift Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Evening Shift Caregiver will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
Responsibilities
Provide personalized care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident care and progress
Work closely with family members and caregivers to ensure continuity of care
Assist with mealtime, including serving and feeding residents as needed
Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in long-term care, gerontology, or a related field preferred
Ability to lift and move residents and equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
