  • Define workstation, tooling, fixture, lifting, rigging, ergonomic, and maintenance-access requirements.
  • Coordinate manufacturing utility needs, including power, HVAC, ventilation, compressed air, industrial gases, network, and MES devices.
  • Conduct time studies, line balancing, labor analysis, and production-flow optimization.
  • Support equipment installation, dry runs, pilot builds, and production-readiness reviews.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Testing, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, EHS, Maintenance, MES/IT, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
  • Maintain controlled layout revisions and develop expansion plans supporting growth through 2030.
Education and Experience

  • Five or more years of industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, factory planning, or production-operations experience.
  • Experience with facility layout, capacity planning, material flow, workstation design, labor analysis, and line balancing.
  • Experience supporting a new facility, production-line installation, plant expansion, or new-product launch.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, equipment specifications, bills of material, and manufacturing routings.
Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with complex, low-volume, engineered, or capital-equipment products.
  • Experience in power generation, thermal systems, turbomachinery, advanced nuclear energy, aerospace, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
  • Experience with large skids, cranes, rigging, heavy lifts, utilities, and equipment commissioning.
  • Experience working in a startup or greenfield manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Certified Manufacturing Engineer, PMP, or similar certification.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for capacity, labor, staffing, and scenario modeling.
  • Experience with one or more of the following:

    • Autodesk Factory Design Utilities

    • Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Smartsheet
    • MES, ERP, PLM, or electronic work-instruction systems
