Job Description

Travel Medical Assistant

Bring preventive healthcare directly to patients in their homes across Washington. In this field-based Medical Assistant role, you'll start with home visits in Clark County, WA and help seniors and families complete wellness-focused visits that are unrushed, relationship-driven, and designed to identify health needs early.

Opportunity

This is a full-time, weekday Medical Assistant role for someone who enjoys clinical patient care outside the traditional exam-room setting. Instead of staying in one clinic all day, you'll travel to patient homes, complete scheduled wellness visits, support preventive care, and document your work using modern EMR tools.

You'll be a strong match if you have hands-on Medical Assistant experience, enjoy working independently, and are comfortable with daily travel and changing coverage areas based on patient needs.

What You Will Own
  • Visit patients in their homes for scheduled preventive care visits
  • Complete Annual Wellness Visits, Medicare wellness visits, and Well-Child Visits
  • Support seniors and families with patient-focused, unrushed care in the home
  • Gather and document clinical information accurately in an EMR
  • Help identify health concerns early through wellness-focused visits and screenings
  • Manage a mobile, field-based workflow while traveling to patient locations
  • Represent high-quality, compassionate care in community and home-based settings
What Makes You a Strong Fit
  • 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
  • Medical Assistant credential, certification, diploma, or equivalent qualification
  • Hands-on clinical Medical Assistant experience in a patient-facing setting
  • Comfort traveling daily to patient homes
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Openness to travel throughout Washington as patient needs change
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience conducting Annual Wellness Visits
  • Experience conducting Well-Child Visits
  • Prior home visit, mobile care, field-based care, or community health experience
  • Experience supporting preventive care, seniors, families, primary care, pediatrics, or geriatric populations
  • EMR charting experience in a clinical setting
Compensation

The expected total compensation range is USD 31 Hourly.

Schedule & Travel
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Field-based role starting with home visits in Clark County, WA
  • Travel may extend throughout Washington based on patient needs
  • Candidates should be comfortable with statewide travel and changing coverage areas
Why This Work Matters

Your work helps patients access preventive healthcare where they live. By bringing wellness visits into the home, you'll help seniors stay healthier and more independent, support families with important preventive care, and improve access for communities across Washington.
